The Scar Project is a series of large-scale portraits of young breast cancer survivors shot by fashion photographer DavidJay. Primarily an awareness raising campaign, The Scar Project puts a raw,unflincing face on early onset breast cancer while paying tribute to the courage and spirt of so many brave young women. 

i really love this project. i am not sure why but i absolutely adore it.

This project is beautiful. I have scars on both breasts from biopsies but nothing like this. Thanks for the perspective.
